In 2024, Lina, a Chinese-born student living in the United States, started imagining a different kind of footwear. She loved shoes from a young age, but she always felt that many designs looked the same: beautiful, but missing personality, emotion, and a sense of fantasy.
She dreamed of creating heels that could make someone feel special the moment they put them on.

Growing up between cultures, Lina found inspiration in both places she called home.
The creativity, trends, and individuality she discovered in the United States combined with the craftsmanship and manufacturing traditions she knew from China became the foundation of Dolly Bae.
Instead of following the usual path, she decided to build something of her own.
She began traveling between countries, working closely with small manufacturers to bring her ideas to life, carefully reviewing materials, designs, details, and quality at every step.
